DAY 1: FROM TANGIER TO CHEFCHAOUEN

Merzouga Sahara Tours organize private 11 day Private tour from Tangier and your tour guide will pick you up from the airport or ferry port and after we explore city of Tangier we departure to Chefchaouen. Overnight at hotel with dinner and breakfast.

DAY 2: DAY EXCURSION IN CHEFCHAOUEN

Morocco tour from Tangier continues today and you will have free program in Chefchaouen including Private tour in medina. Its streets are painted in white and blue colours. The city offers visitors beautiful panoramas declining precious samples of local crafts. We stay for this night in traditional , comfortable riad / hotel with tasty dinner.

DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN TO FES:

Today we continue to Fes , former imperial city often referred to as the country’s cultural capital. It is also one of the first holy cities of Muslim worship in Morocco. It has one of the oldest universities in the world. In afternoon you will have free program to discover old medina . Morocco tour from Tangier will continue on next day after breakfast.

AY 4: FES - MIDELT - RISSANI - MERZOUGA:

Morocco tour from Tangier continues today after breakfast. We leave for Midelt through the Middle Atlas Mountains and the cedar woods. We pass Ifrane, best ski resort in Morocco and we visit Azrou an important handicraft centre in region. We stop at Midelt for lunch. Then we drive to Erfoud passing Ziz valley, we visit Rissani then we continue to Merzouga for dinner and overnight in local desert hotel.

DAY 5: MERZOUGA DESERT EXCURSION

Today you explore Sahara desert in Merzouga, south Morocco. You will enjoy tour around the dunes of Erg Chebbi in 4x4 vehicle. We will visit village of Khamlia, famous for its Gnawa music. We will visit Berber nomads and we will have a lunch with them in desert. Later today we prepare for desert camel ride to reach desert camp in Merzouga desert. We will spend this night in Berber camp with drum music. You may climb the high dune to watch and enjoy the Merzouga desert sunset. We spend the night in nomad tents. Morocco tour will continue on next day after breakfast.

DAY 6: MERZOUGA - TODRA GORGES - DADES VALLEY

Today we will get up early to watch desert sunrise over the Merzouga dunes in Sahara. Then we make our way back by camels to Merzouga hotel for breakfast and shower. Later we drive to Todra gorge ,famous for rock climbers ,where we will enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch. We take a short walk through the gorge. Then we continue to Dades Valley where we stay for this night in traditional , comfortable riad / hotel with dinner.

DAY 7: DADES VALLEY - OUARZAZATE - AIT BENHADDOU - HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAIN - MARRAKECH

After breakfast,we will travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M'gouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip .we will stop at Ait BENHADDOU Kasbah for lunch, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T-hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains. It used to be one of his stops during his long travel from the Sahara to Marrakech., now the kasbah is one of the UNESCO heritage sites. after that we will shift the way to cross high Atlas Mountains full of panoramic views and attractive berber villages all along the way till marrakech . Overnight in a riad in the medina.

DAY 8: MARRAKECH SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast in the riad , you can start exploring Marrakech " the red city of Morocco”. We will ensure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palacel. After Lunch at a restaurant near the square, you will walk through the souks and view hundreds of handicrafts. On the afternoon, you will have some free time to wonder by yourself the other parts of the city . Morocco tour from Tangier will continue on next day after breakfast.

DAY 9: MARRAKECH - ESSAOUIRA

We will depart in the early morning to Essaouira. You will visit the ancient city of Mogador, this was the old name for Essaouira. You will start at the port, mostly devoted to fishing and one of the busiest parts of the city, you will see the large fish markets selling all kinds of seafood as well as the large square opposite where the fishing ships wait to head out onto the ocean. You will head down into the old medina where you will have a change to explore the maze of narrow streets filled with souks and markets.The afternoon will be free to go to the beach or take a stroll along the beach if the wind is not too strong. The beach is beautiful and stretches as far as the eye can see. For those who wish, you can also take a boat trip which lasts about an hour and passes the nearby island of Porpora. You will eat dinner and spend the night at a traditional riad.

DAY 10: ESSAOUIRA - MARRAKECH
