DAY 1 : MENARA AIRPORT – MARRAKECH HOTEL

Merzouga Sahara Tours arranges private desert excursions. We will meet you at the airport and transport you to the nearest riad. Enjoy our 12-day Around Morocco tour, which departs from Marrakech.

DAY 2 : MARRAKECH SIGHTSEEING DAY TOUR

At This day will be spent in Marrakech, known as the "Pearl of the South," and home to the Saadian tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, the Majorelle Garden, and the Menara Garden. We'll also go to the souks and the world-famous Djemaa El Fna, which has a range of entertainment alternatives including storytellers, acrobats, and snake-charmers. Spend the night in a Riad in Marrakech.

DAY 3: MARRAKECH -TIZI N'TICHKA - OUARZAZATE - SKOURA -KELAA MGOUNA - BOUMALNE - DADES GORGES

After breakfast, we will go to the High Atlas through the Tizi n'Tichka pass, a route that climbs from the plains to 2260 meters above sea level, passing past little towns, small waterfalls, and the ever-changing panorama and hues of these magnificent mountains. We can pause on the pass for a cup of cool mint tea and to view the landscape before continuing on to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, where we will explore the famed Kasbah, which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site and has been featured in films such as The Gladiator and Babel. We will explore Ouarzazate, the Kasbah of Taourirt, and then drive to Skoura. You will spend the night at Dades' Kasbah.

DAY 4 : SKOURA -KELAA MGOUNA - DADES GORGES – TODRA GORGES

After breakfast, we will continue our 12-day Morocco tour from Marrakech, and we will drive a little off road and visit interesting places such as caves where nomads live, as well as have a walk at Dades gorge. After driving to Todra gorge, we will pass through town Tingir, then continue to Todra gorge and spend the night at a hotel.

DDAY 5 : TODRA GORGES - TINEJDAD - ERFOUD - NOMAD FAMILY - ERG CHEBBI

Today, you go through this beautiful area on foot, taking in the views of the towering granite cliffs (up 300 meters). We go to Merzouga from here, passing through Tinejdad and Erfoud. We're taking a lunch break. Later, proceed to your accommodation, which is located at the foot of the orange dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will transport you to the auberge once you have seen a nomad household. You will ride a camel to the desert camp in the heart of the dunes where you will spend the night, enjoy the evening, dine under the stars, and sleep in a Nomad Berber tent. DAY 6 : EXCURSION AROUND DESERT - HASSI LBIED - MERZOUGA - KHAMLIA

Waking up by the call of your guide very earlier to witness the sunrise then enjoying breakfast. You will trek back to your hotel where you can have hot shower and get ready for the excursion alongside Erg Chebbi dunes. This excursion gives you the opportunity to explore the surrounding desert by visiting the tiny villages: Hassi Lbied with its Oasis situated on the edge of the golden dunes , we will pass by Merzouga village ( first village in the desert) before we reach Khamlia. On our way to Khamlia we expect to meet locals showing their desert foxes. You may also encounter desert reptiles and mammals. In Khamlia, known as the village of black people who were slaves coming from Sudan. You will be hospitably welcomed with a cup of tea (Whiskey Berber) while enjoying their spiritual Gnawa music. From here we continue the trail toward Merzouga. Near Merzouga,you will have the chance to see Dayet Srji lake that forms in spring time which attracts flocks of pink flamingos and wildlife; Bird-watchers will enjoy this peaceful area.Back to your hotel for lunch and relax. DAY 7 :MERZOUGA - MEDILT - AZROU- IFRANE – FES

Early in the morning, take a walk among the sand dunes to see the sunrise at Merzouga. On the back of a camel, we return to the hotel. You will shower and enjoy breakfast before departing for Fes. We'll travel through the Rissani and Ziz valleys before stopping at Medit apple village for lunch. We'll continue our drive through the Middle Atlas mountains and cedar forest, passing via IFRANE, a winter ski resort built by the French in the 1930s to seem like a Swiss town. We'll arrive at Fes in the late afternoon or early evening for supper and an overnight stay.

DAY 8 : FES SIGHTSEEING IN MEDINA

Today you will begin your guided tour of the medina, one of the world's largest walled in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco. you will visit Mosques including the Quaraouiyine Mosque founded in 859 by Fatima el Fihri and the Andalusian Mosque dating back to 860. Entry is not permitted to non-Muslims ,Fountains including the Nejjarine fountain,Medersas (Koranic schools) founded as early as the 13th century ,Batha Palace now a museum of arts and traditions,Chouwara Tanneries ,Souks including Souk Attarine, one of the liveliest in the city ,Bab Boujloud with its green and blue ceramics ,Mellah and the 17th century Ibn Danan synagogue,also the Kings Palace. DAY 9 : FES - MEKNES - VOLUBILIS – CHEFCHAOUEN

After breakfast we depart to Meknes, one has a magnificent view of the Medina. The tour begins with a tour of the walls with monumental gates dating from the seventeenth century Berdaine Bab, Bab Khemis. We continue exploring the city by the stables (Rua), attics (HERI), and Stud. DAY 11 : CHEFCHAOUEN – RABAT
